ABSTRACT

Milker’s nodules are cutaneous lesions, acquired by contact with cattle, infected with paravaccinia virus. The disease generally manifests as solitary or multiple skin lesions on the hands. In this study, we presented the case of erythema multiforme which developed after milker’s nodule. A 17-year-old female patient admitted to our outpatient clinic with complaints of redness and itching in the palms and feet. We learned from the patient’s history that she had cow milking experience for the first time in her life about 15 days ago, followed by a painless swelling and fluid retention in her left-hand index finger after five days. She also had complaints of redness, itching, and burning on her palms and feet for one week. We decided to report this case because it is relatively rare presented and after milker’s nodule, the erythema multiforme development rarely seen in the clinical entity.
