ABSTRACT
Temporary henna tattoos have become very popular among children and teenagers in recent years. However, the use of additives to shorten the application time and darken the color of commercial henna, such as para-phenylenediamine, has led to an increased risk of complications due to those tattoos. The most commonly seen complications are allergic contact dermatitis, hypertrophic scarring, keloid formation, hyperpigmentation, and hypopigmentation. Herein; a 13-year-old girl who developed localized hypertrichosis after a temporary henna tattoo application was presented.
